Batman Arkham city problems

well, im kinda confused, i was doing the main campaign when all of a sudden, it says 'game data corrupt. The game will exit. you must delete the game data to continue playing this game.' so i was like, wtf and it quit the game. Turned console off etc still said it, but heres the weird thing, i went on challenge mode to see what would happen and for some reason it worked there. But when i went back to story mode it wouldnt work again, wtf is going on?

but it still doesnt work! i actually deleted everything, rebooted loads of times, got back to where i was which took ages and it said it again!

ffs, for other people all it is, is a simple restart and it works. not for me, i cant even get into the game, it just shows the loading screen and dies on me. i deleted the game and save data and it's still not working

alright, that resolved that problem, now ive got to a certain point where it comes up with the message before i get a checkpoint. I can manage to get back into the game, but always from the same spot and it freezes in the same spot as well, so im not progressing at all. any more help?

Not a clue. I have no idea what to do as I don't have the game nor had a problem like this before.

tried that mate, their problem is slightly different to mine, typical of me to get stuck in some sort of loophole , guess i'll have to wait til its patched

you would not believe how i fixed it. I cleaned the disc, which had nothing on it :/, goes to show how being horny fixes things, cos i cleaned it with something unique to me
